Il est étrange de se dire qu’autant de temps aura été nécessaire pour accoucher de cet imparfait classement, un an et demi après celui sur les albums de 2017. Pourtant, le temps a sa logique propre et irrésistible : un album se déniche, se découvre, se redécouvre encore et ce n’est qu’alors qu’il se laisse apprivoiser – des fois très simplement, d’autres fois plus farouchement – quand il ne s’abandonne pas franchement, peut-être injustement d’ailleurs. Puis, vient le temps de l’écriture qui fait étonnamment tinter une autre musique inattendue rabattant ainsi les cartes de ce que l’on croyait figé. Et voilà comment à la fin de l’année 2020 on se retrouve à parler d’albums sortis deux ans auparavant ! Puisque cet exercice demeure à n’en pas douter toujours aussi vain – même s’il n’en reste pas moins amusant – poussons le vice jusqu’au bout et ramenons l’auditeur vers des albums parfois déjà oubliés ou laissés là dans des contrées inexplorées. N’en disons pas plus, il y’a encore tant à écouter ! Et peut-être à l’année prochaine pour des chroniques anachroniques !
